Unveiled on the official stage of London Fashion Week SS26, Rêverie marks a defining moment in Montsand’s creative journey, a tribute to inner worlds and quiet transformation. Inspired by the evocative universe of French painter Odilon Redon, the collection echoes his transition from shadowy monochrome works to luminous, dreamlike pastels. “I married color ever since,” Redon once said a declaration of renewal that resonates deeply with Montsand’s evolving language of elegance.
At the heart of Rêverie lies a narrative of beauty in motion: personal, contemplative, and ever-shifting. Sheer mesh structures serve as invisible foundations, sculpting the collection’s silhouettes with quiet strength. Layered atop are tailored compositions of lace, tulle, and glimmering crystal embellishments meticulously hand-worked across thousands of hours. These inner frameworks evoke the women in Redon’s art: rarely rendered in full, yet luminous in presence.
